Is Noteorius Right For You?

Read this before you buy. It will save you time.

Who is Noteorius built for? 

People who write by hand to think, capture, and organize. People who want a distraction-free writing tool with a reliable digital backup. People who have tried paper notebooks and apps and found neither quite right. If you take your thinking seriously and want a tool that keeps up without getting in the way, this was built for you.

Who is Noteorius not built for? 

People who need a bright or backlit screen. People who want built-in handwriting-to-text conversion. People who primarily type rather than write. People looking for a tablet replacement. People who need to work in very bright or high-glare environments.

Is the display adjustable? Can I change the brightness or switch to a light mode? 

No. The Noteorius display is dark by design. It does not have adjustable brightness and does not have a light mode. The dark display reduces eye strain, eliminates blue light, and is optimized for long writing sessions. If you need a bright or backlit screen, this product is not the right tool for you.

Will the display work in bright or high-glare environments? 

The display is designed for use in standard lighting conditions. In extreme lighting environments either light or dark, the screen may be harder to read. If your primary work environment has strong ambient light, we recommend trying the product within the return window to confirm it works for your space.

Does the app convert my handwriting to typed text? 

No. The Noteorius app stores, organizes, and syncs your handwritten notes as images. It does not convert handwriting to typed text. From there, your notes export directly to Google Drive, Microsoft OneNote, and Evernote, or you can send them to an AI tool for transcription. Your thinking stays yours — organized, backed up, and ready when you need it.

Do I need a subscription? 

No. The Noteorius app is free with no subscription required.

Getting Started

What should I do when my Noteorius arrives? 

Two things: charge the smart pen using the included USB cable, and download the Noteorius Notes app on your iOS or Android device. The notebook itself does not need to be charged or turned on. It is always ready to write.

Does the notebook need to be charged or turned on? 

No. The notebook runs on a long-life CR2032 coin cell battery that powers the erase function only. No charging required, no power button to press. Pick it up and write.

My writing is smearing on the screen. What am I doing wrong? 

This is almost always caused by the side of your hand or wrist resting on the screen while writing. The Noteorius display is pressure-sensitive. Try lifting your hand slightly off the surface as you write, or adjust your writing angle so your hand stays clear of the screen. The pen itself does not cause smearing.

How do I erase the screen? 

Tap the pen cap to the arrow icon on the bottom right corner of the display. You can also use the button on the side of the display next to the arrow icon. To erase specific sections rather than the full screen, save your notes first and use the editing tools in the app.

Where is the model name and serial number located? 

On the lower right corner on the back of the Noteorius unit.

Is the notebook reusable? 

Yes. Erase the page with a single tap of the pen cap. No wet wipe, no consumables, no degradation over time.

What is included in the box? 

Your order includes theNoteoriussmart notebook, protective premium folio, smart pen, and USB charging cable for the pen.

What devices and apps are compatible with the smart pen? 

The smart pen works with the Noteorius Notes app, available on iOS and Android. Notes can be exported as PDF, JPEG, SVG, or directly to Microsoft OneNote, Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, and OneDrive.

How long does the smart pen battery last and how do I charge it? 

A full charge provides up to 8 hours of continuous writing. Charge with the included USB cable plugged into any USB power source. The notebook has its own separate CR2032 battery for the erase function and does not share power with the pen.

Can I use any paper with the smart pen? 

No. The smart pen is designed to work exclusively with the Noteorius smart notebook. It will not function on standard paper.

Can you use multiple styluses on one account? 

Yes. Multiple smart pens can be registered to the same account, but only one can be paired and active at a time.

Does the Noteorius folio fit other e-writing tablets? 

No. The Noteorius folio is designed specifically for the Noteorius notebook and will not fit other devices including the Supernote Manta or similar tablets.

Does Noteorius offer a color display or light mode version? 

No. Noteorius is available in one version with a dark display. There is no color version and no light mode option currently available.

Can you erase specific sections without erasing the entire screen? 

Not on the device itself. You can erase the full screen with a tap of the pen cap. To remove specific sections, save your notes first and use the split or edit tools in the app.

What is the best way to clean the writing screen? 

Gently wipe the screen with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust or loose particles. For smudges, lightly dampen a corner of the cloth with isopropyl alcohol or distilled water and wipe gently. Do not spray liquid directly on the display.

Troubleshooting & Support

Technical issues and how to resolve them.

My pen isn't pairing with the app. What should I do? 

1.  Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. 

2.  Confirm the pen is powered on. The pen should be blinking blue when in pairing mode. 

3.  Close and restart the app. 

4.  Unpair the pen from your device's Bluetooth settings and re-pair from scratch. 

5.  If still unresponsive, hold the power button for 10 seconds to reboot the pen. 

Still stuck? Email support@noteorius.com with a brief description andwe'llget you writing again.

My smart pen will not turn on. 

Make sure the pen is fully charged and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. If the pen is charged but still not turning on, hold the power button for 10 seconds to reboot it. This resets the internal connection state.

The app is not capturing all or any of my writing.

Check that the pen tip is clean and free of debris. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version. The most common cause is pen orientation: the camera window on the pen body must face the notebook screen, not your hand. Adjust your grip so the camera has a clear view of the writing surface.

My notebook isn't erasing cleanly.

The notebook's CR2032 battery may be low. Replace it and test again. The battery is located on the back of the unit and is user-replaceable.

What are your shipping options and costs?

Free standard shipping on all orders over $150 (after discounts, before tax). Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days within the continental U.S.

Where do you ship? 

We ship domestically within the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Notebooks and unused pens in their original condition can be returned for a full refund. For defective items or missing parts, we’ll gladly send replacements or issue a refund.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders can be modified or canceled within 1 hour of purchase. Please contact support at support@noteorius.com as soon as possible. After that window, we can’t guarantee changes before shipping.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Venmo.

Can I track my order? 

Yes. Once your ordershipsyou'llreceive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Why was my payment declined?

Declines can result from incorrect billing details, insufficient funds, or limits set by your bank/credit issuer. You can try again or use another payment method. If issues persist, feel free to reach out for help.
